| The herbs and resins in Yah-Dong might have some beneficial (and other) qualities, but the spirit it's dissolved in definitely hasn't. I am talking from experience. |

| There are lots of different recipes for yah dong, if you go to a yah dong bar they'll give you a menu showing all the different types they do, the mixtures have nice colorful names like "ladyboy's friend", "strong man" and "monk's ruin". Rawlins posted a pic thread about making your own in January, http://teakdoor.com/thailands-wine-c...tml#post491685 (Yaa Dong..crazy drink recipe. Try this at home.) Good article here too, Yaa Dong -Thai Herbal Whiskey |GlobalHangoverGuide®

| I have bought the bottle with the sticks already in it from up near Loei ( dan sai ) before and just filled it with Jamesons . I had a bottle of this rice whiskey which I purchased at an OTOP event - it was quite nice , eminently sippable ![]()
