| I'll agree with you about the Phillipino San Miguel - great beer - drank a fair few bottles of the stuff as a teenager in Manila . Welsh bourbon? - what's the deal with that? WHY IS THAI BEER SO SHITE? read something in the BK post the other day about the poor refrigeration process here thus they throw in additives but maybe that's just a myth...low quality ingredients? this fomaldehyde story about Chang - I don't really beleive it but who knows - Thai beer definitely gives me a bad head the next day even if I only drink 2 big ones! |

| Elite Member | Chang is preferred beer, But will drink most anything. San Miquel as you mentioned is a great beer. A good Scotch. Vodka in a water bottle to mix with fruit shakes here in Thailand is another one I like as well. Vodka or clear rum is actually preferable. |
