I think you should stick with Chang then.Originally Posted by Marmite the Dog

Hence I don't drink it.
I can understand that the bottled Chimay was not to your taste, but you could change your mind if you had the chance to drink one belgian beer right out of the cask or draft. And so many different flavours. I was invited by a belgian friend 25 years ago and he make me discover the countryside of his country, and some very nice small hidden inns whith their own delicious beer. And belgians are very friendly people too. At least the french part, never visited the flemish part.
I agree. I'd love to (as long as I don't have to go to Belgium).Originally Posted by Wallalai
The only two Aussie beers that I would dignify with the name "beer" is Matilda Bay, a small WA brewery and Cascade, a Tasmanian brewery.
Well judging by the export sales of many Aussie beers, not all beer drinkers think the same way!
Of course, the vast majority of Aussie beers are lagers, not beers or ales in the classic sense. Even victoria bitter is actually a lager.
I do like a drop of Crown Lager.
Best lager in Australia.
Is that you cap?

It's the dogs bollocks of Aussie lager!
No. that's spirits. Beer should take a bit longer IMO.Originally Posted by peterpan
