This temple is located on Thanon Visut Kasart, which these days is the road you drop onto when coming from the west over the Rama 8 Bridge.
It was originally called Wat Bang Khun Phrom Nok and was founded before the founding of the capital.
It is famous for a large standing buddah image called Luang Pho To. It was completed in 1928 and has a 3 day festival of celebration every March 4th - 6th.
