This appeared to be quite a handsome wat, spied from the road down to the river front.

But, as you got closer, you could see that a deliberate act of vandalism had occurred in the name of restoration.

WTF do this fuckwits think they are doing?

Let's hope the present guardian goes to hell soon, and someone with more than one brain cell takes over.

Ok I saw this thread yesterday and wondered about the vandalism, I decided to look at it today and I am still wondering what this vandalism is, ie what are they vandalising?

Looking at it it looks like they are putting on a goldy colored wash onto the Temple and haven't finished the bottom yet, I think that looks a lot better than boring old white, or are they painting it white and started the wrong way?
