The thread title is a bit misleading as there are loads of Buddha shops in Pattaya, this one is on Soi Thepprasit, now as far as I know any Thai can start their own Buddha shop and sell these items, I got to admit it does seem a bit strange to me, I mean you buy one of those lady statues where she beckons the customers in, place it prime position on your business premises, what happens if it doesn't work? I wonder if in years to come you will be able to get the shop owners prosecuted under the trades description act?
Ok I admit that time is a good few years away, but will you get garauntees with the talismans you buy? I mean at least with Christian claims by the time you can sue the church your already dead when you found out there is no heaven or hell, all they promise you is if you lead a boring life you get to goto heaven.
Anyway stuff to give to the monks, probably prefer a bottle of whiskey as opposed to the bottle of washing up liquid.
The big collection of consumerable goods in a nice plastic bucket is always appreciatted and a popular choice on Buddhist holidays.
Joss sticks are always in demand.
Buy a nice big statue to donate to your local Temple perhaps.
