Wat Pichai Yatikaram is situated on Somdetchaophraya Road which is off of Prachathipok Road, it was most likely built during the Ayutthaya period, at the time lots of construction materials were being brought over from China and this temple has used many of these giving it an unusual appearance for a Thai temple.

This Temple is quite an easy walk from Princess Mother Memorial Garden.

The Temple grounds are in a small area but the place is pretty much full of buildings, not much room to add anything else, but it does look quite good and has some interesting stuff.

Bell tower on the far left.

Not much room for that tiny little ornamental garden, they done there best though.

All decorative around the Buddha statue.

Get rid of all the gold coloured stuff and this would make a nice living room, albeit still a tiny bit over the top.

Looks like the Gods aren't smiling today and will smite this heathen building down.

All in all quite a nice Temple, if you gort to do one of those make merit 9 Temples in a day visiting things in Bangkok then I would add this to the list of ones to visit, nice and wont involve too much walking
