Kamphaeng Phet historical park day tour

This will be mostly pictures. It's a huge historical site with many ruins dating back to the 15th and 16th century.

Anyway it's big, largely overgrown and just another reason why Thai people don't like Burma. Cuz the Burmese tore this place up in a very big way.

Got all the nice signs with translatons so you can figure out what's going on.

Nice pics Mr Earl cheers. Must admit I had to google it - it's not a part of Thailand I'm familiar with . Looks interesting.

Thanks for the photos Mr. Earl.
Despite living there for a few years and spending many days wandering around the park and walls, i took them for granted, and only after leaving did i realise i had no pictures.
    Thanks again.

There seems to be a UDDBMW posing in many of the pics - nice pics too; good effort, OP.

Try to take them without the bike, they'd be far more attractive....

Indeed it is. Less forgotten, is the importance and historical relevance of the KP civilisation. As are the nearby Phitsanlulok historic hot spots. Often left out as to the significance of the influence and prominence during the "Sukhothai" age.

Great pictures. I've been there a couple of times, but I've only taken a few family-type shots.

It seems that all of SEA did nothing but attack each other back in the olden days. That may be why Thais can have such a quick temper and be such formidable foes!
