Wat Bahn Den

Here is an interesting Wat, obviously more of a tourist attraction than a religious center but a pretty cool place to see if you are in the area.

The area, by the way, is on the way to Mae Ngat Dam in Chiang mai out past Mae rim district.

This first pic is of replicas they are building of all the popular Chedis in Chiang mai.

Not sure what the theme is supposed to be but think it is just a lot of better known wats in Chiang mai kind of rolled into a collage.

Anyway, just a pictorial to give you an idea what the place is like..

Enjoy, in whatever way you see fit..

Sorry, it was kind of a rainy gray day so pics are not too sharp.

Kind of a weird place actually

Every one was unique..

This one was my favorite...

Enjoy..

If you are interested you can give me a PM and I'l give any other info you need..

Anybody been yet?

Would like to the anybody's opinion on the place...

In mine, seems like a place made for the sole purpose of tourists, thai/farang, to take pretty pictures.

Interesting looking place and nice pictures. The fourth picture makes the place look a little like a golf driving range if you took away the animals. It amazes me where they get the money to build all these temples ?
