    Don Hoi Lot

These mud flats located in Samut Songkhram province are the home of a shellfish called hoi lot. These shellfish live along the coast and are hidden in the mud when the tide recedes. In the background you can see people using cement to force the shellfish out of their homes.

This is the dish hoi lot.

First, before we ate the walk through the monkeys began.

Monkeys everywhere. They don't take just the fruit, they jerk the entire bag from you!

The crab meat was very tasty but rather expensive at B700 per kilogram.

This is the kitchen where all the action takes place.
