He has discarded the figleaf of ladyboy bars and wanted to meet in the "full-blown" gay bars in Silom Soi 4.

We went to Tapas which in actual fact was quite tame.

How about we do some TD research into the gay scene and get IJWT to take us on a tour of the BKK gay bars ? Come on fellas, it would be a blast. If it would make you feel better then bring your little lady along for the evening. None of us are homophobic, right ? I'll go as long as Marmite, AO and poolcleaner make the rounds as well.

Why the hell would any STRAIGHT guy be interested in going to gay places? I don't need or want to go to any of these places and really don't need or want to hear what goes on in these places. Maybe it's YOUR

Lots of questions I just don't have the answer to mate. Gay bar or straight bar ... they're places to socialize, right ? Or are they pick up spots ?

I'm searching for the right words ... trying to find a way to articulate that I don't find it necessary to segregate my friends by category. But, I left my angry persona on another forum. So, I no longer feel compelled to rip off your head and shit down your stump for your tacky method of posting.
I'll leave it at this ... I'm not gay and have no problems with gays making their own choices of lifestyle while you on the other hand seem to have a need to be judgemental of others. By the way numb nutz ... you're more likely to engage in a menage a trois (threesome) with two women as the result of going to a gay bar than you are of going to a straight bar.

Don't know why you are getting so uptight about all this, I've got nothing against gays, just don't need to see them in their environment or hear about what they do either. If I wanted that, I would go to gay forums. I knew a few paople in Hawaii that were gay and they knew I was not and they didn't get all in my face about it, so no problems. I know a Thai guy down the road from me that is gay, so what, he's an alright kind of guy but just leads a different lifestyle than I do. I don't give him BS about his lifestyle and he doesn't give any BS to me. Live and let live is my motto, just don't try to rip off my head and shit down my stump, you're more than welcome to do it to yourself though.
