    I'am trying

The last time I asked a question I was told by a member to look it up.
As I said I am pretty new to computers, but I am trying. I did find some things. But now I need help again. I was told by another member that
once I am there in Pattaya, I could look along the coast a little bit away from Pattaya, to see how I would like it. I don't know what to ask for
when looking for a map of an area close but not in Pattaya.
I hope this is not a dumb question.

You mean you don't know the name of the area around Pattaya, right?

Not dumb but very unclear. The coast south of Pattaya heading to Sattahip, or North going back toward Sri Racha?? What are you looking for in detail is a better question.

Hi Whittler, sorry if I was less than polite when I replied before but I was having a bad day. Sorry for that.

If I remember correctly you wanted to know the coastal towns down the Eastern SeaBoard.

Heading south from Bangkok you get

    ChonBuri
    Bang Saen
    Leam Chabang
    Bang Lamung
    Pattaya
    Jomtien
    Sattahip

    info

I want to thank everyone for their help. The reason for my delay is I just

had surgery on my hand and now I am feeling a little better. And Thetyim

no problem. I know it must take a lot of patience with guys like me who

are totally ignorant , of the area and really what to ask.I will try to tell

you what I need.As soon as I can I will be coming to LOS for 5 months.

as a test to see if I might like to live here. I need to be near the ocean

because of my asthma . I have friends in Pattaya, and BKK . I have a

retirement of $2,000 USD a month. The last time I stayed there I stayed

at Peace Resort and kind of liked the area there. I guess further north

would be Naklua. I would like to get a nice place that would be on the

baht bus route, or close to it. I know that I wouldnot like to be in the

center of Pattaya , and I guess I should go to an expat meeting when I

am there. I guess the reason I am nervous is that I have never been on

my own in my 64 years. I want to thank you again for all your help,

and I know that once I get there and start to look around things will

start to fall into place. I am even starting to get the hang of this

    damn computer.

    Take care,

    Mike / aka whittler

When you get here be sure and keep us posted on your adventures and impressions. This could be very intersting.

Have you read this site, it might be useful to you.

IMHO I would try to get out of the city a bit.
Living on the coast will only help your asthma if you are within spitting distance of the beach.
The vehicle fumes will get you as soon as you walk off the beach.

Don't want to spoil your pictorial threads mate, but thanks for confirming what I remember to be true.
Bar girls are hideously rough, expensive and devious.
All the best in Pattaya, i truly don't envy you.

well Mike, you have chosen the right area. You will never have to overuse your hand again (see bargirl pics)
