I flew into Swampy from Singapore at noon today.
I was first off the plane and legged it to immigration, like you do.
Got there and the queues were backed up down the slope and onto the the main drag!
In 12 years I've never seen it so bad.
Absolutely chocker block.
Fortunately the young lady monitoring people trying to get into the fast lane/Thai lane accepted my story and let me through.
A story in itself.
If she hadn't I'd have missed my connection to Chiang Rai.
Anyone experienced the same?
Are they on a go slow or was it just a really bad day?
