If on White Sands you can grab a Sunday roast at Paddy Palms or the White Elephant next door. There is a Place across the road from there called Paul's if you fancy a high view on the beach side.

Cheers Bogey. Heading back now but stayed at Paddys Palms in Icemans recommended family suite which was superb value for money. Went that Pauls restaurant last night and sampled their huge schnitzel

Hey Dill.....I have to say Koh Chang is prob one of our most enjoyable islands. We have some friends that live there. We go and hang with them. I met the guy wheelin. He owns a shop and did 4Wd fab work.

We did a few of those Elephant treks over the mountain. Was quite fun.

I have fond memories of Koh Chang, ended up there purely by chance after a visa run to Cambodia.
Met a couple of tourists in a guest house in Trat and headed off on that ferry T57 posted.
Stayed on White sands beach for a few weeks at the Banana guest house.
The one on the rocky outcrop half way along the beach.
200 baht a night for a fan room overlooking the sea.

I lost my wedding ring in the sea in front of those wooden huts that are still there on Lonely Beach. I'd just bought a lucky amulet off some crazy toothless old bird too Teach me to wazz in the sea

Looks like those are the ones you can kayak out to from the beach below, only 100b or something ridiculously cheap. Do it early and you can root the missus on the rocky cove on the far side.

However gotta watch the tide, It can shallow up quick and you will be carrying the Kayak for a ways...

I've been to Koh Chang and spent a week at White Sands.. I really loved the beach. All my pics are on my old computer which I haven't started up in over a year.
