| Still trailer trash | Many hours later after an overnight stop in Tak we made it to our country home. ![]() In all we spent about B35,000. Had a lot of fun. Saw and experienced a few things in life that most people never have the chance to.

| Really interesting story, and great pictures!! The tribes people sure lead a different life than we do. Do those rings hurt their necks, and do they ever take them off? |

| I went to this village about 12 years ago- ![]() Not much has changed, except back then I think all the girls above a certain age had neck rings. You were quite close to the Burmese border there too HB, so I was told anyway. The residents are Burmese refugees actually, hence the old ladies story of having no Thai ID. Nice to see they are getting some official status now. Back then they were 'tolerated', no doubt in return for a little squeeze money from their tourism revenues. Great TR as always. Where was it hiding?
