Before leaving Chiang mai we decided to explore the area. The kids voted for the Monkey Center. I wanted to go go-kart racing but the prices were crazy, so here we go...

The primates were everywhere.

Not worth going to.

On the way to our next accomodation we happen to stop by a local strawberry wine moonshine operation.

This is where the strawberries are grown right behind the stalls.

The locals were friendly and the wine was cheap. About B120 per bottle.

Normally, I do not really support a resort. However, this one is special. It is located on about 40 acres along side the Pai River in Amphur Pai.
