Bang Pra offers Songkran Festival alternative to Pattaya

Bang Pra offers Songkran Festival alternative to Pattaya

A press conference on Wednesday announced an alternative Songran Festival for those who are looking to celebrate the Water Festival outside of Pattaya.

Bang Pra is located approximately 40kms outside of Pattaya, towards Bangkok and Khun Somjeart, the Mayor of Bang Pra announced on Wednesday that they will be celebrating their Songkran Festival on 17th and 18th April.

This will likely be a lot less chaotic compared to the Pattaya version of Songkran which takes place on 19th April.

There will also be a free music concert featuring top Thai singers and plenty of other attractions to keep you entertained. For more information on the event please 038 357 999.
