6th Hua Hin/Cha-Am Golf Festival 2007


he Tourism Authority of Thailand, Central Region Office: Region 2 team up with the Petchburi-Prachuab Kirikhan Golf Course Association cordially invites interested golfers to join the golf promotion during the annual festival from 1st to 31st August. Green fees are only 800 Baht at any of the 7 named golf courses participating from Petchaburi and Prachuab Kirikhan.

The green fee is not inclusive of caddy fee. There will be a tournament on every consecutive Sunday starting from the 29th July until 31st August. The top prizes are worth up to 1 and a half million Baht.

The golf festival has been a continuously organized event for the past 6 years. This has been done to boost the local tourism and to encourage tourists’ to come and enjoy playing golf during the rainy season at the 7 selective golf courses who are participating in this event in the Hua Hin and Cha-Am area

For anyone interested you can join the Sunday tournaments throughout August with a playing fee of only 1,200 Baht , which includes caddy fee and dinner.

Furthermore, on the opening day, 29th July, you are invited to join the longest drive competition and try some new golf products at The Majestic Creek Golf & Resort. You will receive a 10-30% discount with any purchase from 1st to 31st August.

The top prize is for The Hole-In-One at a designated hole and the winner will receive a Mitsubishi Space Wagon car worth 1.5 million Baht. There are also many other wonderful prizes to be won such as a Gas Voucher worth 100,000 Baht, Air tickets from Bangkok to Fukuoka worth 120,000 Baht donated by Bangkok Airways, a 2 night accommodation voucher from one of Hua Hin’s finest hotels and resorts worth 15,000 to 30,000 Baht.

For any of our female golfers interesting in joining this tournament, you can apply to enter the limited special promotion from The Royal Hua Hin Golf Course where the tournament will be on Mothers day, 12th August, with a playing fee of only 600 Baht. The closing ceremony and prize giving will take place at Palm Hills Golf and Country club on Sunday 2nd September.
