Arm Wrestlers battle-it-out at the Royal Garden Plaza.
At the Royal Garden Plaza on Saturday Afternoon, we attended the 4th Annual International Arm Wrestling Championships. The event which had a total prize money pool of 80,000 Baht saw competitors come from around the world to compete in this exciting competition. Mostly Thais competed in the event and we must report that the sprinkling of foreign competitors did not do well against some very strong and muscular Thai competitors. There were three weight divisions and the competition finished at 6pm on Saturday with an awards presentation ceremony.
