    Ao Railley, Krabi province

I have finally started getting ticked off with ChiangMai Songkraans, so this year, after putting up with the first day, we decided to go on a trip down South.
i love krabi province and hadn't seen the sea in the past 2 and a half years.
On the recommendation of AO, we decided to go first to Ao Railley.

The boat from Krabi takes about an hour, and costs some money although i don't remember how much.

This is a picture of the boat that we arrived on.

The West side of the bay was pretty much fully booked, so we stayed on the East side, I think.

This is the guest house we stayed at, the diamond cave resort ...

The rooms were very nice and advertised satellite tv, unfortunately only one channel worked.

    The pool was nice too.

Cost was 800 baht a night.

On the walk around to the other side of Ao Railley, you go past some real live monkeys, loads of them.
    look at this chap.

I like this part of the place, just past where you see the monkeys.
I can't remember what this bay was called, but this is where we spent the days.

    Some nice pics..

I like this one, I might get it blown up and hang it in my living room, right next to my pink framed Rama 5 portrait.

All in all, a very nice place to spend a few relaxing days.
Very peaceful, not a whole lot of nightlife action, but a big range of restaurants and bars.
Stayed for 4 days before heading off to PhiPhi.

By the way, internet access comes in at a mighty 3 baht a minute.

    A few more pics...

    The pics are very late.
I was too lazy to re-size them individually and have only just learned how to use my pic re-sizer software.

Looks great CMN, glad you had fun. Isnt that the Raywadee beach, the one with the cave at the far end? Very nice indeed. Damn I forgot to tell you to go to Raillay from Ao Nong, 10 minutes and a few baht each. I went the way you did the first time, come in on the mud flats.
