    Koh Larn Samae Beach

Samae beach isn't that far from Na Ban so you could walk, only trouble is you have to go over the mountain, as you get near the top you see loads of car engine oil all over the road, obviously the taxis and that are struggling at this point and blowing out oil due to it being too steep, but you do get to go up on the view point, well thats if you aint too knackered like I was and don't bother.

You can get a boat here from Pattaya directly at the Bali Hai Pier, this I think is a private boat and they charge 150baht for the return journey.

This is the beach you want to come to if you are in a group and want food and drink, loads of Thai seafood restaurants and places to have a drink.

The beach is quite nice but a bit too busy, has jetskis, fishing boats and banana boats etc, also the swimming areas are bouyed off for safety.

    Koh Larn Samae Beach

Samae beach is where they have the pilot scheme for wind powered electric, it was quite windy but most of the propellors were not turning, so maybe not that good an idea, or maybe the batteries etc were full up so the turbines were locked?

You can also hire ATVs here, 250cc so they could be fun.
The beach road is fully built up with restaurants, bars and souvenir stores.

Lots of parking places but not many cars etc.

Before you get to the beach there are several seafood restaurants including, Stone Seafood and Poungpayom Seafood.

The beach is open from 6am till 9pm, then the gates are locked.

Nice beach if you're there on an off day and the Jet Skis are quiet.
This is just around the corner from the busy beach.

What is that building with the massive roof? I saw it last time but didn't bother to go and see what it was for, saw they were building all around it.

It's nice that Pattaya has a proper beach/island on it's doorstep, even though us residents can rarely be arsed going there.

    Kind ot adds credibility.

Kinda helps if you speak Russian, just like everywhere else in Pattaya these days.

Go enjoy it now before it's completely fucked.

Are there resorts or hotels on Kho Larn where you can stay for a night or 2?
