The pics will make for great memories when you're 64...just get that young noi out of the Koh Chang album (or it could come back to bite awfully hard.)

Thanks again for sharing. Sites around Koh Kood are supposedly a divers paradise though not in rough sea conditions.
Yeah, definately the wrong time of year to go, the weather was quite shit really , didnt even get in the water in ko chang just to rough

^ Not bad. 70 baht a kilo for Mon Thong durian. Around 120 baht in Bangers.

Hey BLD looks like you had a pretty good time regardless of the weather. Miss fish and I enjoyed the pics. She clued me in about your thread today and now she can't wait to get back to Laos to visit family and friends. Myself I wouldn't mind a little beach action as well. Looks to be a good time just beach bumming and chilling, with a beer Lao of course.

She loved the quid on display and showed me some pics of little pinkie (a niece) at her mamas fruit stand in Vientiane over the week end. I was assured it was over the week end as my first thought was why the kid wasn't in school but instead touting pineapples. Not that their is anything wrong with teaching a child some business skills. Surely it will pay dividends later on in her life learning to deal with people and all.

I'd post up some more pics of our last trip but the old laptop died and I can't figure out how to resize the pics on the new one. And quite frankly I don't want to take the time to learn as it is summer here now and I've too much else going on.

We hope you're all doing well and thanks for taking the time to post up the travel log.
Miss fish says to say hi to the missus and to you, take care...........the fishes.

Great pictures and report as usual. Spent Christmas with the family on Ko Kood about 4 years ago and really enjoyed it. and with no real traffic is easy to ride around. Freezing my nuts off at present but back in SDD in 3 weeks..and looking forward to our mango trees!
