1,557,577 loyal Thais signs the get well books for H.M. the King

BANGKOK, 18 December 2009 (NNT) — The number of visitors who signed get well books for His Majesty the King has reached 1,557,577 after 90 days of HM's hospitalization.

As of today, 15,110 citizens dressed in pink arrived at 100-Year Hall, Siriraj Hospital to bid HM the King good health and a speedy recovery.

Visitors today also included high-ranking government officials led by Interior Minister, Chavarat Charnverakul as well as Deputy Finance Minister, Prutichai Damrongrat.

Twenty provincial governors from across country also presented well wisher books signed by their residents to the King.

HM the King’s health has improved.

However, the date for His Majesty to be discharged from the hospital has not yet been disclosed as doctors still closely monitor his condition.
