| Serene Sands Health Resort, Pattaya Very small, new resort located in Banglamung, which is a bit outside Pattaya, but still listed as Pattaya on the hotel sites, which is where I found about this place. ![]() Nice corner room, with breakfast included for 1500B or 1200B, I can't recall. ![]() ![]() Saltwater swimming pool. There's also a small weight room, which can be used for free, and a steam room that costs extra. ![]() ![]() ![]() Poolside pool table. ![]() ![]() A free shuttle tuk-tuk to Pattaya (one way) is available. A friendly, cozy place that seemed to appeal to families, couples and seniors. Easy to strike up conversations with other guests if you're the gregarious sort, kind of an inn or B&B vibe to the place. My only complaint that while the breakfast was pretty good, we ordered some Thai food for dinner that was simply OK, and a tad expensive for what it was. Didn't try the farang food. I think I prefer someplace closer to town, but for folks who mainly want a relaxing, quiet place to chill out by the pool, it fits the bill. ![]() Serene Sands Health Resort |

| Even though it's just outside Pattaya, the hotel is completely off the tourism grid, located in a grubby Thai neighborhood with soi dogs galore. Safe though, with a gated and walled-in carpark. |
