    Citin Loft Pattaya

Brand new hotel located in a quiet location. Had a nice stay there a coupla months ago [at] 1000B/night, Thai resident rate via my work permit. I'm not certain you can get this rate as a walk up, I booked in advance [at] the hotel's website.

There's a couple of free internet stations in the lobby, not sure about WIFI access in the rooms.
Rooms were quite spacious. Includes a good-sized sitdown bathtub, shower, DVD player, fridge, king-sized bed...extremely comfortable and good value.

Rate included a pretty decent breakfast for 2. Good service, they kept the coffee coming, much appreciated.

As you see from the map, the hotel is a bit off the beaten path, which is a good thing IMO. Seemed to be a family-oriented hotel, didn't see any punters wondering around.
I'll be back, very enjoyable stay.

So have I, but it's certainly not the norm at budget hotels, so your brilliant observation is along the lines of "Thai food is spicy." And by "proper" sausage you're probably talking about English sausages, which are as bland as hotdogs.
I wouldn't expect a Thai bugdet hotel to have real German or Polish sausage.
