Om Yim, Bangkok

Last year I stayed here and posted some photos here http://teakdoor.com/thailand-hotels-...s-bangkok.html as part of a bigger thread. I am staying here again and thought that it should have it's own thread.

They have put their prices up but even though it is still very good value.

It seems that my windowless room last time although cheaper is in fact a lot larger then the window room that I have currently. 1000 baht a night, 24 hour room service, free wifi, tea and coffee, fridge, sat tv (not many channels) and best of all the location. On the steps of BTS chong nonsi.

It is a good place. Forgot to mention that it includes breakfast as well.

Patpong is just around the corner but in the immediate vicinity there is a lack of food for sale but only need to walk for 150m and that all changes.

No, the place is tiny - about 15 rooms or so - there is a cemetery over the back fence though

Why do you always stay in the middle of nowhere? That's nowhere near Sukhumvit!
