The Royal Ivory Nana - Bangkok

Stayed in the Royal Ivory Nana last trip and the rooms are massive, bad for me i got too much sun out in the streets of bangkok and fell ill, and rarther enjoying my last night in Bangkok, i spent all night pissing out of my ass and it took 12 litres of water to get back into shape for the flight home

But was impressed with Ivory, the rooms are big and nicely done out in teak.
I did get a few mosquito bites even thoe the aircon was at its lowest possible.

The staff were very friendly and a good laugh, but the rooms being so large dusty in places.

I would go back as its in a nice location, and the cable helped me through my hours of sun stroke.

Nice Big room with kitchen area, small table - no balcony thoe and no great view

The kitchen Area, this is the place cleaning had not been great, but you could only spot it if you was looking for it, i would advise cleaning the kettle before use thoe

The bed area was impressive

Nice big tv with cable, but no dvd player

This toilet got some stick, the european paper route was exhausted in the first few hours, but the hose pipe worked out far better and more refreshing Take note - no bath but the shower was great, no real problems here with cleaning, but maybe showing its age in places.

And now a view of the Bangkok skyline from the viewing deck, nice place to have a smoke and view the carnage below

Overall compared to some places ive stayed Royal Ivory Nana is nice and i would go back.

Good pics. What are the rates? Oh, too bad about the runs--least it happened on the last day and not the first.

I did not book it, but im sure they were around the 2000 mark which i did not think was bad with the size of the room and location, was about 500yds from nana so you also got no noise from there

If I remember correctly all the restaurant staff are from Chaing Mai as they are more useless than normal.

Yes very slow indeed, and the food wasnt all that good when it eventually arrived. Got to agree with OP though, as its one of the better places ive stayed in Bangkok.
Close to a park for an early morning stroll, if your into that.

Not far from the Tobacco Monopoly entrance on the right hand side as you go away from Sukhumvit.
