| Actually, depending on where you are in Laos, you don't need to do anything. Along the river, when you're opposite a Thai town, you can pick up AIS and DTAC really easily. |

| assuming my mobile phone does`nt work,are Laos SIM cards easily available and how much do they cost ? Further,which is better in the north east/laos area`s....DTAC or AIS ? My gf says 1 2 call does`nt work that well in Buriram. I used a 1 2 call SIM in Buriram a couple of years back and found the coverage very patchy.I used to have to climb onto the gf`s house roof just to make a call and could`nt recieve anything at ground level... |
