Thread: Marine and sailing boat suppliers in Singapore.

Being an island nation, there must be 100's of them. I just cannot find them today, I need the contact email/number of a store that sells recreational sailing parts (and presumably will ship them to me then as well).

I've tried tried searching online, but cannot find emails, and the websites I find, it is often not apparent which stores do sailing vs motor boats, or are for big boats, as opposed to a small recreational one.

Anyone able to help please?

Chandleries - Marintech is a small Chandlery located at 101 Kitchener Rd., #02 Jalan Besar Plaza. To get there take the MRT Green (East-West) line to the Lavender stop. It is about a 10 minute walk from there to Kitchener Rd. Hardware Store - Handyman Centre, 1 Scotts Rd., #04-06/07, Shaw Centre. Phone 6737 7815. This small store has a reasonable selection of hardware (not much in the way of marine items, though) and is organized similar to ones in the US. To get here, take the MRT to either City Hall or Raffles Place and transfer to the Red (North-South) line to the Orchard stop.

They also have many nautical publications such as the Red Sea Pilot, Nautical Almanacs, etc. - but these are all rather pricey. Take the MRT (Green line) to Tanjong Pagar stop. Exit the station and walk SW down either Shenton Way or Anson Rd. about ½ km toward the AYE and the container port. The shop is on the ground level in the building on the corner between these two roads and the AYE expressway. Safety Equipment - Safety Innovators, 90 Tuas Ave 11, Jurong, Phone 6863 2088, Fax 6863 0388. Take bus 192 about 10 blocks from Raffles Marina. Good selection of fresh flares plus lifejackets, liferaft supplies and repacking.

I worded for a company here in Thailand making fibreglass parts for Hobie cats.

What parts are you after fo yor hobie.
I worded for a company here in Thailand making fibreglass parts for Hobie cats.

Today, I'm specifically looking for a new set of cams (needed urgently, as both rudders will not lock down properly), a new J or D handle for the trapeze wire, (not so urgent) . At some point in the near future I will need a new wing, (hobie 17 sport) and a new tramp.
