Cebu Air flys from Clark to BKK twice a week. The price is usually around $100 each way.

Over 21 days, just pay a 3'000 Pesos fee at a registered travel agent office for exte

I get a 21 days visa at arrival.

My next stay is 26 days, had 2 choices after calling embassy of Phils in Switzerland. Either apply for a visa in Berne Switzerland and pay a fee or around 2000 Pesos for a visa i forgot duration...
Second choice, as embassy told me is to go there and before the 21 days visa is over, go to a travel agent and pay a fee of 3000 pesos to extend visa and this one is my actual choice for next trip, they said it is easy and not overstay problem related as in Thailand...

Being married to a Flippa, i should enter the country together with her, and at the right side at airport immigration arrival, apply for a 1 year visa that would be granted without troubles if we have the few required docs, much easier then Thailand...

Being married to a Thai, i don't need to enter the country together with her, I just apply for a 1 year visa at my local embassy that would be granted without troubles if I have the few required docs, much easier than Philipines...

^ yep, sorry not married to a Thai so never tried that one to comment more on it! Just went on from what i 've heard and seen guys reporting every now and then in Thailand...

As well easy for flippo side if i go to one embassy, and prolly not so much reporting as in Thailand, will confirm this one soon.

Married to a Filipina and entering together with her you don't need to apply for visa. You get a balikbayan stamp on arrival and can stay for a year. That applies even if your wife no longer holds a Filipino Passport.

We never even needed any documents. The same name in our passports and her looks and command of the language was enough proof. But to be on the safe and legal side a proof of marriage and an old invalid Philippine Passport of the wife should be available. More details about Balikbayan rules:

yes, the main problem with the "O" visa is the having to leave every 3 months

I have never worked out the historical reason for that
