Does the airport have a hotel and how much is it?
I'm flying out at fucking 0725 in the morning so I don't fancy having to get up at 3am just to make a 6 hour flight.

There's a new Novotel.
I just saw that AC.
4000-9000 Baht for two hours extra kip.
I will just drive the bloody car there and sleep at the airport instead for that price.
when you leaving mate? My gaff is 16 kms for the new airport - or 20 minute drive (15 if you drive over a 100)

We are only an hour away but it's still an hour plus getting ready time plus waking up time etc.
I reckon I would need to leave the house at 3:30am to be there for just after four leaving me with three hours to get through immigration etc.
Is there a separate desk for business class on Thai airways or will I have to queue with the plebs?
I understand that you are a frequent business class traveler MrsQOriginally Posted by mrsquirrel
Haven't travelled business for a long time. 10 years maybe. Used to use up the oldmans airmiles.
Last thing I read about Thai Airways was that they had a massive queue for everybody. Not separated into different flights. One would presume that they had a separate queue for the better off but being a Thai company they probably don't
Tell a lie I got upgraded on Austrian Airlines 5 or 6 years back. That was ok. Not the best.
In the early 90's when i lived with my parents in Montreal we flew first class on KLM and BA fucking rubbish they were same as cattle class is today.
I think they still have a separate queue for the "better off". The complaint was that there were not separate lines for separate flights, not separate classes.Originally Posted by mrsquirrel

I was confused. I must have thought Thailand was becoming a communist country or something like that.
After all we do live in a classless society don't we.
