The brain is the same the world over. Emotional responses are hard-wired and independent of culture. Scientific fact doesn't have a cultural bias.

Culture is merely a set of rules/behaviour created by various people at some point. It is dynamic, and as a result of being created by people, it is often full of illogicality, contradictions and anachronisms.

The former informs the latter. All human behaviours have a rationale/logic. It is quantifiable. As I'd suggested in my previous piece, it is the skill of the observer that is important. If you find it bewildering, may I suggest further study.

Please don't lapse into the DrBob school of childish putdowns.

He has got a point though Bob, I mean it's not often you are wrong and your contributions are very informative,
but you do throw a bit of an Antrum sometimes if contradicted. IMHO

fair enough, can't argue with that. If he'd just left out the word "endemic" I'd probably have agreed with him.
