Who can ignore that unprotected sex is dangerous ? Poeple who take the risk have to face the consequences.

I think there are many prostitutes here who carry the virus without knowing it. Fuck without condom and you're responsible as much as the carrier.

This is very true. Heard many Thai guys talk about this....many BGs who have boyfriends, who also shag around, are quite a risky proposition for bareback.

There was a French guy living in Rawai a couple of years ago who was HIV+ and whoring it up something chronic without using a party hat.

His reasoning was that he probably got it from a whore and therefore any other whore willing to bareback deserved everything she got. The fact that he was bisexual and had previously been a casual intravenous drug user back in France didn't enter into his "reasoning".

I thought his behavior was pretty damn cold.

I don't know what happened to him but the guy who told me about it said the other French residents were going to offer him the choice of leaving or else they'd tell the girls what he was doing.

Sorry if this is slightly off topic but I am currently in Kampala and in Friday's newspaper you have the normal "loveline" advertisements...but the difference here is that over 50% are HIV positive people wishing to meet others in a similar predicament for marriage etc...... Africa or Asia...which seem more responsible to you??
