I think this was for my post: Yep, they read something like "HIV positive female 25 seeks HIV positive male 30 to 40 for long term relationship and marriage"..I fear that the length of the relationship is not guaranteed to be long term though...

It is the first time I have seen such a thing ( and so many!!) and found it quite disturbing but yet heartening...

I do find it concerning when people say the odds of catching it are low. Makes me wonder how the 10's of millions with it worldwide got it if it's that difficult to get.

Lots more here, not sure how up to date it is, but type E is easier to get via heterosexual intercourse.

I think the UN estimates/guesstimates that around 40 million are hiv positive worldwide, mostly Africa, India, Russia and China. I'm sure that's a conservitive figure, for sure, but when you read stuff from the OP story and some of the other links/facts etc presented then I'm amazed it's not 10 times that number considering the recklessness of so many when it comes to sex, especially after becoming intoxicated with something. I suppose we can only guess at the numbers of people walking around that are positive and don't know.

The newspaper is delivered to my hotel room daily..This was the first time I have been here on a Friday so it was quite a surprise for me too...I don't normally browse the classifieds when away on business..

But the odds of being infected change dramatically if like me you only ever take bar girls, and from areas like Pattaya or Lamai where the infection amongst Bar girls are much higher, maybe as high as 30% now.
