| The Dog | Bangkok most attractive tourist destination in Asia Bangkok most attractive tourist destination in Asia Bangkok is the most attractive tourist destination among 10 major cities in Asia, according to a recent survey. Conducted by the Bangkok University, the survey found that 48.9 per cent of foreign respondents felt Bangkok lived up to their expectations. Some 45.4 per cent others said Bangkok was impressively exceeded their expectations. hmmmm, who did these students in Bangkok ask? So lets have our own poll. Shall sticky it for 10 days and see how it goes.

Was tempted by Saigon, but stuck with bangers...it's lost a bit of it's shine after living here for nearly eight years, but it's still the most interesting city in the region by my books.

Most attractive for what, surely not the many parks, open spaces and appealing architecture, nor the multitude of museums art galleries and concert halls. Must be all about booze and birds as usual otherwise I dot see how Bangkok can be considered attractive, I voted for PP at least the frogs knew how to lay out a town, plant trees and put up attractive houses.

phnom pehn? surely you are jokeing PP is a big village. Last time i stayed there a month and besides some nice avenyes, some buldings it has little to offer compared to the multitude of services bangkok offers. PP dont even have a fucking cinema apart from some fucking lao/french shit. After 2100 oclock the village is dead apart from bar spread over a wide area. Transportation is shit and so on. so on so on so on. Dont get me wrong, I like the village at times but to compare it to real cities it very wrong. Bad boy you are.............and you to and you yes YOU

And BU is rather well known for its ladies with short skirts and ill-fitting blouses, or so I've heard....from a friend of a friend, in passing like... Actually, I wonder of the participants were able to understand the questions....

A city is a city is a city. How do you rate the attractiveness of urban sprawl? What were the original 10 choices? This poll only seems to have 9. I'll go for Bangkok despite the soi dogs, piles of trash and odour of raw sewage mixed with traffic fumes - mainly because of the abundance of eye candy.

I've been everywhere but the Middle East and I cannot think of a more exciting city to spend an evening. For a man with money in his pocket, but not wealthy, Bangkok is as good as it gets.
