Monk hangs himself inside local Temple grounds.
Police Lieutenant Griengaiwoot from Banglamung Police Station was called to the Sutawat Temple in Nongprue late on Saturday Night to investigate the apparent suicide of a monk inside the temple grounds. He arrived and inspected the body of Pra Prasit who was discovered by a colleague, Pra Sanan. He had apparently hung himself from a wooden rafter located outside a toilet block. Pra Sanan mentioned that the suicide victim would speak about a cousin who would come and visit him on a regular basis and ask for money. The victim would mention that his family would only contact him when they needed money and would stay away at other times. Police made a thorough inspection of the surrounding area and the body for any signs of foul play and along with statements from other monks at the temple, concluded this was indeed a suicide.

Train collides with Thai man in South Pattaya. Was it a suicide?
Police Sub-Lieutenant Choosak from Banglamung Police Station was called to a section of train track inside Soi Nongabor in South Pattaya to investigate a case of suspected suicide. He arrived to find body parts of a Thai man strewn across the tracks and surrounding area which suggested a high speed impact with a train. The train did not stop at the scene and continued its journey to Chaing Mai province in the North of Thailand. Officials from the train company were informed and made their way to the scene to speak with Police. The driver indicated that the man, who appeared to be lying across the track, was spotted at the last minute. The driver used his horn to inform of his approach but the man failed to move and the train could not brake in time. The victim was carrying no forms of ID and will have to be identified through dental records because of the poor state of the body. Although suicide was the likely cause, Police are not discounting the theory that the man was drunk and simply collapsed on the track because of his intoxicated state. Police are waiting for Post Mortem examination results before they close the case.

That's sad - but sounds very convenient!
