At 5.30 on Friday Evening, Police Lieutenant Colonel Apimook from Dongtan Police Sub-Station located on Jomtien Beach was called to the Jomtien Golf and Travel Service Company located in Soi Welcome Hotel 2 off Jomtien Beach Road to investigate the apparent suicide of the Swedish Owner of the Company. Police were directed to the 4th floor of the shop house by Mr. Jonny Lantz aged 45, a close friend and business partner of the deceased, identified as Mr. Lars Gustafson aged 58. He was lying on the floor next to his bed. Six deep lacerations to his left and right wrists were seen and major blood loss was apparent. A forensic doctor was sent to the location and he determined that Mr. Gustafson had been dead for at least six hours. There were no signs of a struggle and the room appeared undisturbed apart form a Nokia Mobile Phone which had been smashed on the floor. Mr. Lantz indicated to Police that the deceased had been depressed for some time due to a break-up with his Thai Wife. He had attempted suicide in the past but was prevented from killing himself by Mr. Lantz. On Friday Morning Mr. Lantz had spoken with Mr. Gustafson in the office and he appeared relaxed. He then retired to his 4th floor apartment and was not seen again. The Swedish Embassy are aware of the case and Police have recorded the case as a suicide pending the results of a post mortem examination.

It's little to do whether the girl works in the sex-industry or not, more to do with the girl's background in general.

That said, you are more likely to come across girls with a more problematic background working within the sex-industry especially within that industry catering for foreigners.
