The appellate review on Thursday turned down the bail application filed by lese majesty suspect Darunee Chanchoensilapakul, also known as Da Torpedo, on grounds for risking a repeat of offence if released.

Chulalongkorn University lecturer Suthachai Yimprasert said as bail bond agent he was disappointed at the appellate outcome. He said he would consult with the defence team before deciding a next move.
