American teacher falls from condo rooftop

American teacher falls to death from condominium's rooftop

An American teacher fell from the rooftop of a condominium in Bangkok's Bang Na area and was killed early Friday morning, police said.

Police said Michelle Rere Stillwell, 32, fell from the rooftop of the Parkland Building 9 at 5:40 am.

Police found one of her shoes on the rooftop and found an empty bottle of wine and a nearly empty bottle of whisky in her room.

Police suspected that the woman was walking on the rooftop and accidentally fell because she was drunk.

She taught English at the Thai-Chinese International School in Samut Prakan's Bangplee area.

Have they/will they test(ed) her blood alcohol level? Empty bottles don't mean she drank them.

Has anyone else noticed the recent (like the last month) swing from the BiBs attributing all 'falls' from 'suicide' (as they all were determined) to 'accidental' (as they now seem to be). Any chance they'll ever go for 'murder' with one of these? Too much paperwork?

D'you know, if it wasn't for the pain caused by the credit crunch, rising prices everywhere for everything, the Democrats in America, Zimbabwe, Burma, Brown being a dick (& Scottish at that), UK immigration, football, cricket and the weather, someone, somewhere, might just pick up on the amount of free falling that takes place in Bangers and Pattaya and ask some serious questions!?

But I doubt it.

jgwise Thailand Travel Forum Newbie
Hi, this is the young ladies mother, Joni Wise--I used to have 8 children; now i have 7. I don't know who her friends were over there at the school but I have a need to know==I do know for a fact that the story in the paper and what really happened to her are not one in the same. I would appreciate anything that you could find out!

Grieving mother
