Koh Larn - 2 Korean women found murdered

Two Women Found Murdered on Koh Larn
The Sawang Boriboon received a call from the Pattaya Police on the afternoon of the 11th April to go along with them to Koh Larn island as two bodies had been discovered.

At the scene, a rubbish tip near a beach on the popular island, police found the grisly remains of two women, who later turned out to be South Koreans. Only one body had identity papers, assuming it was 25 year old Ms Park Ji Hee. The other body was unidentified. Near the badly bruised women was what was left of their valuables. Two empty purses. Witnesses in the area stated that they saw these two women walking about the area the day before. Officers believe they died at least 12 hours previously and were attacked by more than one person. The bodies were taken away for autopsies and a search is now on for further clues to catch the murderers of these two unfortunate women.

    Murder and suicide?

Korean Embassy and Police investigation continues following double Korean Death case on Larn Island.

We have an update now on the shocking case from Larn Island which resulted in the death of two female Korean Tourists. We have received information from Police Lieutenant Colonel Sumaert who is leading the investigation in conjunction with the Korean Embassy. He was at the site of the incident on Saturday Morning with Embassy Officials who are refusing to speak with the media at this time. There is a suggestion that the pair may have been murdered, but we understand that investigators are not sure at this time and are still investigating the possibility that one of the women murdered the other and then took her own life. The true identities of both women are also unknown at this time despite a torn up passport found at the scene featuring the name Park Ji Hee. We will closely follow the case and publish further updates when we have them.

Investigation closed in the Korean death case from Larn Island.

We have been closely following the case from Larn Island which resulted in the death of two Korean Female Tourists. We can confirm that the Parents of the victims, who are now known to be twins, have arrived in Thailand and have formally identified their daughters. They have been named as Miss Park Ji Hee and Miss Park Mi Hee, both aged 28. The pair have been living here in Thailand for the last 2 years and came to Larn Island by boat on 10th April at 9am. They were found dead the next morning. It appears that evidence collected suggests a third party was not involved in their death and according to Police Major General Bundit, the Commander of Chonburi Provincial Police, who went to the scene on Tuesday Evening, head wounds on the victims appear to have been self-inflicted following a night of heavy drinking. The pair was thought to have hit their heads on rocks on the beach and when they awoke, they found themselves in the water. One of the twins is then believed to have tied her hands together with her sister in an attempt to save both of them from the water, however due to their intoxicated state and tiredness, they are both believed to have drowned and their bodies were then washed up on the beach. The parents of the deceased have reviewed the evidence and agree with the current Police theory which is backed up with toxicology reports and post mortem results. Police have now closed the case.

Seems quite plausible to me, you do know Koreans eat dogs and aint the same as normal people, although on second thoughts I am not quite sure I believe this version of their deaths, I mean first they bashed their heads with rocks until they were unconcious, then whilst being swept out to sea one of them decides to find some rope or string to tie themselves together so they can save themselves, now the interesting bit is they tied their wrists together, personally I would prefer my hand and wrist untied to enable swimming, so it must have been suicide, case solved and the tourism industry isn't hurt

    Bloody hilarious!

How about this as an explanation. They have wounds on their heads and water in their lungs as someone drowned them and their heads knocked on rocks under water while holding them down under.

Did they have a valid visa??? I guess this is one of the most important questions. To commit suicide before the visa ends will not extend it!

More serious - hope they find the truth - as far as this is possible - here.

Found dead on the 11th, case closed on the 17th, I can't believe that, either the case isn't closed or the murderer/s is influential.

So we are expected to belive that -
    1 they got pissed
2 banged their heads on rocks and knocked themselves out
3 one recovered and tied them together
    4 they then both drowned
5 the two deceased ladies then left the water and went to a rubbish tip NEAR the beach
    6 and were found

    sounds feasible

is not because there are 2 ladies dead ( that is sad )- but the fact that we are expected to believe this crap !!

In a double suicide would it not make more sense that they got drunk, tied themselves together, went into the sea, drowned, and then had their heads banged on rocks when being washed up on the beach.

They had being in Thailand for 2 years already, didn't they know the accepted way to suicide is to superman it.
