    Depends on the airport, innit.

Even Heathrow put an airside smoking area back in T3.

There is (or was) a smoking room in that lounge.

I wonder if either of them are still open?

Anyway, you can just book a room in the hotel and vape to your hearts content.

    Just to clarify, you said:

was in it the other week
    And so was I.

But the OP refers to Feb 3rd.

So are either or both of them still there?

I can only speak for Jomtien but nobody smokes on the beach now, including Thai's. There's lots of warning signs and ashtrays on the promenade every fifty yards or so. Have seen beach-chair vendors tell people to get off the beach and up to the promenade where the ash trays are when people who don't know the rules put a ciggy in their mouth.

Of course. The Lao economy depends on me.
Plus the fact that according to all my Doctors smoking has absolutely nothing to do with multiple myeloma.

I only said it because I thought it humorous.

I have eschewed smoking now for several years and enjoy the freedom from its addiction although to be honest, I still fancy one from time to time - it was such a fine solitary pursuit that both concentrated the mind and emptied it allowing for a period of quiet reflection whilst feeding the addiction. In truth, I have not found anything else that comes near to calming me in the same manner and quite often now I am overcome by the near uncontrollable impulse to stab stupid people in the eye with my finger before I smash my foot into their groin and then stamp on their head.

That would look so much cooler with a cigarette dangling from your lips.

Couple of evenings ago at the narrow part of the pavement between Subway next to Bamboo bar and Walking Street, the bib were picking off and extorting Chinese and Koreans for vaping, which earns offenders a stiff fine and possible jail sentence in this wonderful land; weren't treating them well, either, while farang tourist cops watched and shrugged.
