    ^ This one?

    https://www.news.com.au/travel/trave...7006b3d0bda12a

A SEX hotel has today been blasted “horrendous” and “disgusting” for its new Nazi-themed room — complete with murals of Adolf Hitler.

The “Communist” room is one of the largest at Villa Love Hotel near Bangkok, Thailand, and is said to be extremely popular with swingers and randy groups looking for sordid orgies.
But Rabbis and the Jewish communities in the area blasted the room and urged authorities to intervene.

Despite the fact that Hitler wasn’t Communist as the name of the room suggests, two giant images of the fascist German leader hang above the king size bed, with a giant swastika painted behind a TV playing hardcore Japanese porn. The Russian Communist hammer and sickle has been mounted on another wall.

Judging by the photo I think it was a pre-planned costuming gimmick. But I'm of the opinion that it was done out of ignorance. Thais, especially Asians, and younger people not of the baby boomer generation are not very aware of the history of the Holocaust.

    • Similar incidents have occurred in Thailand, where there is little awareness of the significance of the symbol

I remember that incident from only a few short years ago when an entire school seemed to have chosen a Third Reich motif for the big parade. There they were proud as punch marching by in the high jack boots and Nazi flags. Must have been quite the sight.

As a matter of fact, the sightings in markets I am speaking of in #16 were not of the Nazi Hakenkreuz but the original Asia swastika, something like this:

The real history of their own country is verboten.

Considering how ethnic minorities & refugees are treated in Thailand, maybe they simply don't understand what's so objectionable?

I'd say that about 85% of the people who read your post know that already.

In post #3 you apparently demonstrated that you didn't know the difference.

Sure, how they should know that such a costume is verboten whilst no problem with other costumes?

^^^Not many spot the difference immediately. Both versions of the swastika and variations there of are verboten in Germany.

Swastika found drawn on crib’s mattress at Florida hotel

A New York family found two swastikas drawn on the mattress of a baby's crib they requested at a hotel in South Florida.
Zipora Waltner, an Orthodox Jewish mother, was staying with her husband and children at the Grand Beach Hotel in Surfside, Fla., near Miami Beach, WSVN 7News reported Monday.

"We requested a crib brought up to our room for my baby, and on the mattress there were two symbols, swastika symbols, drawn on the mattress," Waltner said. "I was certain it was a swastika and still did a double take."

The Holocaust industry has nothing to do with the Nazi holocaust. All it is, is an ideological weapon of Israel and its supporters to immunize Israel and its supporters from criticism. It has nothing to do with the actual event.
It's a bit of an absolute, but it is mainly true, especially for today's generation. They milk it while they do to the Palestinians some of what the Nazis did to them.

Any reasonable attempt to point that out is howled down with accusations of "Holocaust Denier!" and other such shit.

In Ukraine it's not so insulting:
Massive LED swastika displayed at Kiev shopping mall. Are ‘hackers’ to blame?
