BMA to inspect safety in 37 public parks
BANGKOK, 11th October 2018 (NNT) - The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has launched a program to inspect electrical equipment and facilities in public parks to ensure public safety.
Volunteer engineers, architects, and mechanics from six agencies will inspect the safety of electrical equipment and the structure of facilities in 37 public parks in Bangkok. The operation will take up to a year to complete, and will be done without drawing on BMA funds.
Parks in the capital city receive at least 90,000 visitors per day. The BMA plans on building two new parks in Bang Khae and Bang Bon districts.
