Thread: More than 1,700 criminals arrested in nine provinces this month

BANGKOK, 22nd August 2018 (NNT) - More than 1,700 individuals in nine provinces have been arrested for criminal activities since early this month.

A spokesman for Provincial Police Region 1 revealed in a press conference that since the criminal crackdown operation began on August 7th, a total of 1,785 people have been apprehended for money laundering, drug possession, and criminal activities.

Police raided 100 places in nine provinces and seized 9 cars, 11 motorcycles, 218 guns, 957 bullets and at least 600 kilograms of methamphetamine, crystal meth, marijuana, and other illicit drugs.
