BANGKOK, 9th January 2018 (NNT) - The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment will organize activities to promote protection and conservation of wildlife and natural resources at Dusit Zoo on National Children's Day on Saturday, January 13th.

The Natural Resources and Environment Minister, Gen. Surasak Kanchanarat, said his ministry has prepared activities to deliver hapiness to youths and provide them with knowledge on natural resources and environment.

Gen. Surasak said the activities will encourage participants to help preserve nature and learn about wildlife, including endangered marine species.

He said the Department of Environmental Quality Promotion will act as the main coordinator for all related activities organized by other agencies under the ministry on National Children's Day.

The ministry is inviting young people and their families to visit Dusit Zoo on Saturday. The entrance fee will be exempted for all children.
