THAILAND, 2nd December 2017 (NNT) – Offices of the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) are reorganizing electrical cords and wires in their areas to ensure public safety.

Authorities from Chiang Rai PEA Office are removing old electric wiring and unused telecommunication links along Thanalai Road in the capital district.

In Phrae province, overhead cable removal started from Muanghit Intersection and continued to Ban Mai Intersection. The operation was carried out by the provincial PEA office.

In Nakhon Phanom, local officers untangled electric wires and cables around the provincial City Hall. The distance covered totaled 1.5 kilometers.

In Pathum Thani province, officers traveled along a 12-kilometer road to reorganize overhead cables and remove unauthorized telecommunication devices from Pathum Thani Bridge to Bang Khu Wat Intersection.

In Trat province, related agencies joined forces to organize and untangle electrical wires in several communities. The operation covered a distance of 4.5 kilometers, much of it along Sukhumvit Road, a major highway that runs from Bangkok through a number of cities of the eastern seaboard.
