I still can't think there is more to this story than the Aussie going up to the Thai with a machete. It's been stated that the Thai guy was causing some kind of traffic problem with the Aussie and he lost the plot. I think it was reported that the Thai guy cut the Aussie off and or hit his car and THAT is what started all of the problems.
The old farang is now getting charged with attempted murder and the Thai obviously smelling some easy baht has said he will push this all the way.
