Corner shops, as predicted all raised their prices by 10 baht on a bottle.

^ But have decreased in tax.
My ciggies went up 100b a carton and my beer went up 45b a carton.

So 10 baht per pack. What brand? I buy Winston a pack or 2 at a time. Has been 87 baht for over a year, up from 65 (?) at the last tax increase, no change this time.

Tiger up 2B a bottle at 7-Eleven to 58. Don't see the fuss really.

^ Corner shop or a tax-paying franchise like Tesco Lotus or 7?

^ Odd because both my liquor and ciggies have not gone up at 7 or Lotus, but every corner shop has raised them, and I suspect it's because they know about the tax but have not yet felt the raise when they buy from Macro.
I was going to suggest you're being ripped off, but plainly not.

It's hard to believe the Winston inventory for both 7 and Lotus was so large that they still have not gone through it after 2 months.
    Still at 87 per pack.
Hong Thong too. 139 for a flask, and circa 240 for a bottle. Tesco Lotus was 256 for a bottle and has actually dropped to 249.
