SA KAEO, 19 July 2017 (NNT) – Cambodian authorities are issuing passports to Cambodian workers returning to Thailand, while immigration officers are keeping strict inspection on migrant workers entering this country.
Pol Lt Col Ruangdej Tammanan, the deputy chief of Sa Kaeo provincial immigration office, inspected Cambodian migrant workers arriving back in Thailand through Poi Pet border pass to prevent the use of fake passports.

According to the consul general of Cambodia in Thailand, the Cambodian government is speeding up the passport process to issue 160,000 passports in 100 days.
It costs 100 US dollars for a Cambodian passport to be issued for 20 days, 150 US dollars for 10 days, and 200 US dollars for a single day.
