I for one cannot wait for the General to clean up the news industry. I get extremely uncomfortable with journalists reporting the facts regarding what really happens in Thailand, especially stories on corruption etc and find it quite depressing. Hopefully the Good general will make sure only feel good stories are reported in the interest of good public harmony. This should greatly enhance my quality of life and I will stop dreaming about a trip to the top floor of the Bayoke.

I like reading and watching the news on channel 7 every morning.

It confirms that I have no need to up or change my medication.

There is no way in the world that I come anywhere near these fukin retards as far as mental health and insanity issues goes.

Only reason I stay in this rancid, corrupt, stupid fuking country is that it makes me feel totally normal.

My psychiatrist tells me that it's working.

Bar girl murder suspects to face death penalty for heinous dismemberment - PattayaOne

Bar girl murder suspects to face death penalty for heinous dismemberment

Bar girl murder suspects to face death penalty for heinous dismemberment

Four suspects in the Khon Kaen bar girl dismemberment case are looking at the death penalty after being officially charged with premeditated murder on Tuesday.

Apparently, authorities don’t believe murder suspect Preeyanuch Nonwangchai’s story that the killing was accidental and that she just meant to teach her alleged victim, Warisara Klinjui, 22, a lesson.

Preeyanuch and three alleged accomplices, Kawita Rachada, 26, Apiwan Satayabundit, 28, and Wasin Namprom, 22, face premeditated murder charges. Another suspect, Jidarat Promkun, 21, is facing lesser charges and may not have been in the car at the time of the crime.

The only punishment given for a conviction for premeditated murder is the death penalty. However, Thailand has not actually carried out an execution since 2009.

Pol. Maj. Gen. Tanasak Rittidejpaiboon said yesterday, “There is evidence that the suspects made preparations for the murder,” reported The Nation

Police plan to conclude their investigation in less than three months and will oppose bail. Not that any members of any of the suspects’ families have come forward to try and post for the alleged killers.

Kawita’s sister denied the widespread rumors that her younger sister had millions of baht flowing in and out of her bank account each month. However, that, paired with the trio’s alleged drug use and possible drug dealing, spurred police to open an investigation into their finances that will go back to 2014. They expect to learn if the women were involved in large-scale drug dealing from this probe.

Narcotics Suppression Bureau Probing Links Between Khon Kaen Murder Suspects and Drug Rings

KHON KAEN– Pol Lt Gen Sommai Kongwisaisuk, commander of the Narcotics Suppression Bureau, said on Monday police were investigating the connection between the suspects of the dismembered body case and the network of the alleged Lao drug lords Xaysana Keopimpha, who was arrested in Bangkok in April, and Srisook.

“As of now, we haven’t found links with the Wah’s drug network. However, the choice of their escape destination perplexed us,” he said, adding police believed someone had advised them where to go.

“They didn’t flee to Laos, an obvious choice as it is closer. Instead, they went North to Myanmar,” he said.

The body of Warisara Klinjui, a karaoke bar workers in Khon Kaen, was found chopped into two and stashed in two plastic bags and buried in a vacant plot in Khon Kaen’s Khao Suan Kwang district late last month.

A man was arrested in Laos and his girlfriend was nabbed in Ubon Ratchathani later. The three other female suspects fled to Myanmar and were taken into custody early this month.

Meanwhile, the mental health test of a female suspect currently detained in Khon Kaen on charges linked to the much-publicised murder and dismemberment case found that her mental health condition was normal, Khon Kaen prison warden Weerachai Petchrat said on Sunday.

The prison conducted the test on Priyanuch “Priew” Nonwangchai after she looked stressed after being detained.

However, Weerachai said Priyanuch seemed to be unable to adjust her sleep patterns as she used to work at night, he said.

Two others suspects, Kawita Rachada and Apiwan Satayabundit, had appeared to adjust themselves to the prison environment, he said

The three suspects have been charged with the premeditated murder of Warisara Klingjui, whose dismembered body was found buried in a field in Khon Kaen late last month. The three fled to Myanmar after the murder and surrendered this month.
The warden said suspects pending trial were responsible for their own schedule and not required to join prison activities although they could if they so chose.

Or the football content stealers case, or kingpower case, or that brit who wiped out three Thais in Pattaya driving late at night, or various hi-so driving atrocities.

Justice, as pursued by the RTP, can take decades upon decades to come to a conclusion.

Their painstaking thoroughness is on a par with Thai journalist's unquenchable thirst for truth.

Now they're having us believe that Yingluck might go to jail.

    As if.

They're good at putting on a show, and even if she's guilty, she'll get bailed while the appeal process goes on for a couple of years

Wanted man found in Myanmar with war weapon

A THAI drug suspect has been arrested in the Myanmar town of Keng Tung this week for possession of a war weapon. Keng Tung police arrested Tawatchai Omchompoo, 29, on Wednesday.

An informed source said Tawatchai suspiciously stopped his vehicle along the R3B highway after spotting a checkpoint ahead.

“He also got out of his car and sprinted away, arousing police suspicions. Police then hunted after him,” the source said.
Police managed to detain him soon after and found in his car an assault rifle with ammunition. Two women were with him at the time of his arrest. Their identity was not disclosed.

At present Tawatchai , is being detained at the local police station.

Tawatchai is wanted in Thailand over his alleged involvement in drugs and fled to Myanmar to evade arrest. Both the Pathum Thani and Si Sa Ket provincial courts have issued arrest warrants for him.

Tawatchai’s name emerged in Thai news reports frequently last year after he was identified as the man who helped three female murder-dismemberment suspects went into hiding in Myanmar.

The gruesome killing received huge news coverage in Thailand. The three murder suspects soon later turned themselves in and were then deported back to Thai soil to face charges.

An informed source said the Thai-Myanmar Township Border Committee was expected to address Tawatchai’s case.

“If he is not prosecuted in Myanmar now, he will have to be deported to face legal proceedings in Thailand,” the source added.

Preaw in court, now denies killing karaoke bar girl

KHON KAEN: Preeyanuch “Preaw” Nonwangchai, on trial for the murder and dismemberment of a karaoke bar worker, has changed track in court and denied killing the young woman. She and the four other defendants earlier confessed to the charges, which include premeditated murder.
The five defendants were taken to Khon Kaen Provincial Court today (Feb 21) for the second day of the hearing. Other witnesses included Khao Suan Kwang police chief Col Phakphum Phitsama.
In her testimony the 25-year-old said she only “assaulted” Warisara Klinjui following their severe quarrel, defence counsel Bunyong Kaeofainok said after the hearing.
Three other defendants – Kawita “Earn” Ratchada, 26, Apiwan “Jae” Sattayabundit, 29, and Wasin Namprom, 22 – told the court they only helped cut up the corpse so it could be hidden, Mr Bunyong said.
The fifth defendant, Jidarat Promkhun, 22, confessed to robbery, the only charge police pressed against her.
After her arrest in Myanmar, Preeyanuch apologised to Ms Warisara’s relatives, claiming she had “no intention” to kill her.

According to police investigators, Preeyanuch asked Ms Warisara to get into a car, intending to teach her a lesson because the victim had given police information that led to the arrest of Preeyanuch’s husband on a drug offence.
The 22-year-old victim was strangled to death in the car. Her dismembered body was found in a shallow grave in Khon Kaen’s Khao Suan Kwang district on May 26 last year.
Ms Warisara’s family also filed a civil lawsuit demanding compensation of B10.3 million, but the defendants argue this is too much and wanted it to be settled in court, Mr Bunyong said.
